Program Overview

This is an experiential introduction for both parents and teenagers on best practices in entrepreneurship and youth development. We will focus on the skills and mindset youth need to develop to be successful in a rapidly changing world. The program focuses on engaging students in a real world environment. Participants work on teams over the weekend where they are exposed to the design thinking process. Students practice empathy by talking with customers, developing rapid prototypes, integrating user feedback, and they leave with a plan to continue testing the market viability of the idea. The parent program (one-day) focuses on tools parents can implement to create an environment at home to foster entrepreneurial development in their kids.
